Our Fees

At Hysway Psychology, we strive to provide transparent and accessible mental health care. Below is a breakdown of our fees and available rebates.

Fee: $225 per session (50 minutes)

Medicare rebates are available for psychological treatment by registered psychologists under the Australian Government's Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. This scheme provides considerable assistance to people living with mental health problems, allowing them greater access to psychologists and providing more affordable mental healthcare. Under this scheme individuals diagnosed with a mental health disorder can access up to 10 individual treatment sessions per year. Please note that clients must have a referral from their General Practitioner via a Mental Health Care Plan to access these rebates. 

Medicare Rebates (per 50-minute appointment): Registered Psychologist: $98.97

Our fees for individual psychological therapy for third party referred clients align with the APS National Schedule of Suggested Fees 2024-2025. A standard 46 to 60-minute consultation fee at $311.  In accordance with APS guidelines, the following cancellation fees apply: 0-24 hours notice: Full fee, 24-48 hours notice: 50% of fee

48 hours – 7 days notice: 25% of fee.

Payment details will be provided on the invoice, and payment terms are within 7 days of the invoice via electronic funds transfer. 

At Hysway Psychology, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another client in need of care. A $75 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
